The Role & Expectations
As a data entry administrator, you spend your day turning information into data. This might be typing addresses from forms into a database, entering customer details, checking prices or moving information from paper into computer systems. It sounds simple but accuracy is everything - if you get something wrong, it might cause problems later on.
You also check data that other people have entered, spot mistakes and fix them. You organize files so people can find them quickly, and you work with other departments to make sure data flows between teams smoothly. It's detail-focused work that needs concentration, but it's also the foundation that lets businesses run properly and make smart choices based on accurate information.
