Biological Sciences is one of the broadest and most dynamic of the science disciplines, encompassing the study of living organisms from the molecular and cellular level to ecosystems and the biosphere as a whole. It draws on genetics, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, evolutionary biology and microbiology to understand the fundamental principles of life and their application in medicine, agriculture, environmental management and biotechnology.
