About this course

Physiotherapy is the healthcare profession concerned with restoring movement and function to people affected by injury, illness, disability or ageing. Physiotherapists work across the full range of health conditions, from musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions to respiratory disease, paediatric development and rehabilitation after surgery. The profession combines a rigorous understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and pathology with the practical skills to assess, treat and rehabilitate patients, and the communication abilities to work effectively with individuals and within multidisciplinary teams.
