About this course

Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession centred on enabling people to participate in the activities that matter to them, despite the physical, mental, or cognitive difficulties that may be limiting their daily lives. Occupational therapists work with people of all ages and with a huge range of conditions, helping individuals find ways to manage the activities of daily living, work, and leisure that might otherwise be out of reach. The profession rests on the understanding that meaningful occupation is central to health and wellbeing, and that skilled therapeutic support can transform what people are able to do.
