The role

As a Litigation Executive, you help lawyers handle cases in court. You prepare legal documents, gather information to support arguments, and organize evidence so it makes sense to a judge. You work in law firms or company legal teams, helping to prove that your client is right.

A typical day involves writing documents carefully, reading through past cases to find similar ones, and making sure nothing is missed or wrong. You might attend court hearings where you sit with the lawyer and help explain things. You also talk to clients, explain what is happening with their case, and answer their questions so they feel confident about what comes next.

Daily responsibilities

  • Drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
  • Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Managing case files and maintaining communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Preparing for and attending court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Analyzing evidence and witness statements to build compelling cases.
  • Advising clients on their rights and legal obligations throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborating with solicitors and barristers to develop litigation strategies.
  • Monitoring case progress and ensuring compliance with legal deadlines.
