Sport and Exercise Science is the scientific study of how the human body performs and adapts under the demands of sport and physical activity. It draws together physiology, psychology, biomechanics, and nutrition to build a rigorous evidence base for understanding physical performance, optimising training, preventing injury, and promoting health through exercise. As both elite sport and public health have come to rely increasingly on scientific insight, the knowledge and analytical skills that sport and exercise scientists develop are in growing demand across a wide range of professional contexts.
