Bioveterinary sciences applies the tools and methods of modern biological science to questions about animals: how they are built, how they function physiologically, what diseases affect them and how those diseases interact with human health and wellbeing. It is a discipline that combines rigorous scientific training with a deep engagement with animal biology and the complex relationships between animals and the humans who keep, breed, study and care for them.
