About this course
Electronic engineering shapes nearly every aspect of contemporary life. The devices we communicate through, the systems that control power grids, the sensors embedded in vehicles, and the circuits that process medical data all depend on the work of electronic engineers. The discipline combines fundamental physics with applied mathematics and practical design, asking you to understand how electronic components behave and how to arrange them into systems that perform reliably in the real world. It covers analogue and digital electronics, signal processing, communications, and increasingly the intersection of hardware with embedded software.
