Is this the only route?

University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Stage Manager
As a Junior Stage Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of productions, gaining hands-on experience in managing rehearsals and performances while learning from senior staff.
Mid-Level Stage Manager
In this role, you will take on greater responsibilities, including leading teams, coordinating larger productions, and ensuring that all technical aspects are executed to a high standard.
Senior Stage Manager
As a Senior Stage Manager, you will oversee multiple productions, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making for the organisation.
