Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Inspector
As a Junior Inspector, you will assist in conducting inspections and tests under the supervision of senior staff, gaining hands-on experience in quality assurance processes.
Mid-Level Inspector
In this role, you will independently conduct inspections, analyse data, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, playing a vital role in ensuring product excellence.
Senior Quality Inspector
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will lead inspection teams, develop quality control strategies, and liaise with management to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
