Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Moulder
As a Junior Moulder, you will assist in the production of moulds, learning the basics of mould design and manufacturing processes while gaining hands-on experience.
Mid-Level Moulder
In this role, you will take on more complex mould designs and lead projects, working closely with teams to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
Senior Moulder
As a Senior Moulder, you will oversee the entire mould-making process, mentor junior staff, and drive innovation in mould design and manufacturing techniques.
