Career Progression Path
Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Foot Health Practitioner
As a junior foot health practitioner, you will start by assisting experienced practitioners, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in patient assessment and treatment.
Mid-Level Foot Health Practitioner
In a mid-level role, you will take on more responsibility, managing your own patient caseload and providing a wider range of treatments while mentoring junior staff.
Senior Foot Health Practitioner
As a senior practitioner, you will lead a team, develop treatment protocols, and may also engage in teaching and training new practitioners.
