Is this the only route?

University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Auto Electrician
As a junior auto electrician, you will assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, gaining hands-on experience and learning the ropes of the trade.
Mid-Level Auto Electrician
In this role, you will independently diagnose and repair complex electrical faults, mentor junior staff, and may specialise in specific vehicle systems or technologies.
Senior Auto Electrician
As a senior auto electrician, you will lead projects, oversee a team of technicians, and be responsible for the most complex electrical systems in modern vehicles.
