This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.

In this role, you will take on more significant projects, often leading your own commissions. You will be expected to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality work that meets their expectations.
Senior Artist
As a Senior Artist, you will be a key figure in the creative community, often mentoring junior artists and leading major projects. Your work will be highly sought after, and you may also engage in teaching or workshops.
