Career Progression Path
Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Architectural Visualiser
In this entry-level role, you will assist senior visualisers in creating basic 3D models and renderings, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software.
Mid-level Architectural Visualiser
At this stage, you will take on more complex projects, leading visualisation efforts and collaborating directly with clients and architects.
Senior Architectural Visualiser
In a senior role, you will oversee visualisation projects, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in strategic client engagements and presentations.
