The Role & Expectations
As an aircraft refueller, you will be at the forefront of the aviation industry, responsible for the safe and efficient refuelling of various aircraft types. This role requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to strict safety protocols, as you will be handling flammable materials and operating specialised refuelling equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coordinating with flight crews, monitoring fuel levels, and ensuring that all refuelling operations comply with regulatory standards set by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy is essential, as even minor errors can have significant consequences in aviation.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-refuelling checks on equipment and fuel quality
- Coordinate with flight crews to determine fuel requirements
- Operate refuelling vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor fuel levels during the refuelling process to ensure accuracy
- Complete necessary documentation and reports for each refuelling operation
