Fine Art

Fine Art is the practice of making work that engages seriously with materials, ideas and the world, asking what images, objects, sounds and spaces can mean and do when placed in a deliberate artistic context. At Anglia Ruskin University, this three-year full-time programme encourages creative risk-taking from the outset. You will explore a wide range of practices and artistic platforms, including photography, printmaking, performance art, film and video, digital media, installation, and site-specific approaches. This breadth of exposure is intentional: contemporary art practice is not confined to a single medium, and finding where your own interests and strengths lie requires genuine engagement with many different ways of working.
