Veterinary Science

A foundation year is available for students who need additional preparation before the main professional programme. You will study anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and the clinical sciences relevant to the species you will work with, alongside the clinical skills development that takes place progressively through the degree and in clinical placements.

Graduates register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and work in companion animal practice, farm animal and mixed practice, equine medicine, veterinary public health, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, government veterinary service, academic research, and conservation medicine.
