Sport Management

Sport management applies business and management principles to the distinctive context of sport, an industry that encompasses professional clubs, national governing bodies, sports events, leisure facilities, sports media, sponsorship and retail. At Coventry University you will study sport management over three years of full-time study, through a programme housed in Coventry Business School. You will develop knowledge of marketing, finance, human resource management, event management and strategic planning as they apply within sport organisations. A sandwich year and the opportunity for a year abroad extend the programme and add significant professional and international experience, and work placement is integrated throughout, connecting your academic learning to the realities of industry practice.
