Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language therapy is concerned with the assessment and treatment of communication difficulties and disorders affecting speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. It is a clinical profession that works with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan, from children with developmental language disorders or stammering to adults who have acquired communication difficulties following stroke, brain injury, head and neck cancer, or progressive neurological conditions.
