About this course

Software engineering is the discipline concerned with the systematic design, development, testing, and maintenance of large-scale software systems. While programming is central to the work, software engineering goes well beyond writing code: it addresses the full lifecycle of software, from requirements analysis and architectural design through implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance. At the University of Bedfordshire, this three-year programme covers the design, development, and deployment of large-scale software within industrial and commercial settings.
