At Liverpool Hope this four-year full-time programme provides that combination of technical disciplines, giving you a grounding in the mechanical, electronic, and computational dimensions of robotics. You will develop skills in programming, control systems, sensor integration, computer vision, and the mechanical design of robotic systems, building the capacity to design, build, and evaluate robots capable of operating in real environments. The programme is oriented towards the practical challenges of implementing robotics in changing industry contexts, preparing you for the kinds of problems engineers encounter when deploying autonomous systems.
A year in industry is built into the programme, giving you structured professional experience within a robotics, engineering, or technology organisation before you complete your degree. A year abroad is also available, allowing you to broaden your academic and cultural experience at an international institution.
Graduates move into roles in robotics engineering and development, automation, autonomous vehicle technology, healthcare robotics, aerospace, defence, manufacturing, and research.
