You will gain a broad and detailed knowledge of psychological theory and its application within contemporary psychology, covering the core areas required for British Psychological Society accreditation: cognitive and biological psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, and research methods. The programme includes a foundation year that builds your academic skills and psychological knowledge before you enter the main degree, and a sandwich year, a year abroad, and work placement that give you extensive professional and international experience across the programme as a whole.

BPS accreditation means that the programme confers Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, the prerequisite for postgraduate training in professional psychology. The typical entry tariff is 136 UCAS points. Graduates go on to careers in mental health, education, human resources, market research, social care, and other fields, as well as to postgraduate training in clinical, counselling, forensic, educational, and occupational psychology.
