At Queen's University Belfast this three-year full-time degree integrates theory and practice from the outset, with students spending half their time in university gaining the latest nursing theory and clinical skills, and half in clinical placements gaining direct patient care experience in a variety of settings. The programme is designed to prepare graduates for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as adult nurses, and Queen's takes a highly regarded approach to student support through its personal tutor system. You will study anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nursing assessment, therapeutic interventions, and the ethical and professional frameworks that guide nursing practice.
