About this course

Physics is the science of the fundamental laws that govern the behaviour of matter and energy across all scales: from the subatomic particles studied in quantum mechanics to the cosmological structures examined in astrophysics. It is a discipline of extraordinary range and ambition, asking the deepest questions about the nature of reality and answering them through precise mathematical reasoning, rigorous experimentation, and the careful analysis of evidence. Physics not only describes the world as it is but provides the foundations on which chemistry, engineering, materials science, and much of the technology we depend on is built.

At the University of Keele, this three-year, full-time accredited Physics degree explores dynamic topics across the full breadth of the subject, deepening your understanding of how the physical world works.
