The programme includes a sandwich year placement and a year abroad, as well as integrated work placement activity, giving you substantial professional experience and an international perspective that set you apart from graduates of more conventional degrees.

You will study sport science, child and adolescent development, coaching theory and practice, physical education pedagogy, exercise physiology, and the research methods that underpin evidence-based practice in sport and education. The placement elements ensure you develop practical teaching and coaching experience alongside your academic knowledge, which is essential for roles working with young people.
