Nutrition is the scientific study of how the foods and nutrients we consume affect the body's function, health, and development across the life course. Nutritionists work to translate scientific evidence into practical guidance, whether in clinical settings, public health contexts, food production, research, or education.

At the University of Chester, this three-year, full-time degree is accredited and designed to meet the competencies required by the Association for Nutrition, the professional body that oversees standards in the field. You will develop a rigorous understanding of nutritional science alongside the practical and professional skills required to practise effectively as a nutritionist.
