About this course

Clarity helps us to understand our users’ behaviour by visually representing their clicks, taps and scrolling. All data is anonymised. The BMus is a single-subject degree for those who are interested in pursuing a career in music.

It provides a strong grounding in core disciplines and allows you to pursue your specialist interests in third and fourth years. You will be given a bursary towards the cost of private instrumental or vocal tuition. As a music student in the School of Culture & Creative Arts, you’ll have access to a wide range of spaces and facilities designed to support both creative practice and technical skills development.

These include solo and ensemble practice rooms, two recording studios, the Audio Lab, Media Lab, Ambisonic playback suite, and a dedicated music study space. Students also benefit from preferential access to the University Concert Hall for performances and events.
