Music is one of the oldest and most universal human activities, encompassing the composition of sound in time, the performance of that sound, and the cultural contexts in which it is created and received. Studying music at degree level means engaging with all of these dimensions, from the technical craft of making music to the ideas, histories, and social forces that give it meaning. At Brunel University London, the BA Music programme has been designed to develop your particular interests in music-making, aiming to equip you with a solid grounding in the craft of creativity that reflects the diversity of musical styles and genres in today's world.
