About this course

Motorsport engineering is a discipline that applies engineering principles, particularly from mechanical, aerodynamic and electronic engineering, to the design and development of high-performance racing vehicles. It is a field that demands both technical rigour and a competitive mindset, as the engineering challenges of motorsport are pursued at the extreme end of what is technically feasible, within the constraints of sport regulations and commercial realities.
