At the University of Southampton, this five-year full-time BMBS degree is delivered at Southampton General Hospital, a top UK teaching hospital, alongside purpose-built Life Sciences facilities on campus. The programme integrates scientific and clinical learning from an early stage, ensuring that you understand the science underpinning clinical practice and can apply it in patient-facing contexts. Graduation from a recognised medical degree qualifies you to apply for provisional registration with the General Medical Council, leading to Foundation Year training and then specialty training across the full range of medical and surgical disciplines.
