About this course

Medicinal and biological chemistry is the science of understanding life at the molecular level and using that understanding to design compounds that can treat disease. It draws on organic chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, and pharmacology, combining rigorous chemical synthesis and analysis with a deep engagement with how biological systems work and what happens when they go wrong.
