You will study genetics and genomic mechanisms in the context of complex disease in human populations, developing expertise in molecular and cellular biology, genetic analysis, and the biomedical research methods that translate laboratory findings into clinical relevance. The programme includes a sandwich year and a year abroad, as well as work placements, all of which add professional experience and international dimension to an already demanding and rewarding course.
