Mechanical Engineering

Aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, manufacturing, medical devices, rail, marine, and building services engineering all employ mechanical engineers in significant numbers. Many graduates pursue chartered engineer status through professional institutions such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
