About this course

Mathematics and business and management is a combination that equips you with two of the most powerful analytical frameworks available at university. Mathematics develops your capacity for rigorous abstract reasoning, proof, and quantitative analysis, with applications that extend from pure theory to the quantitative methods that underpin financial modelling, operations research, and data science. Business and management develops your understanding of how organisations function, how strategy is formulated, and how commercial decisions are made in complex, uncertain environments.

The two disciplines together produce graduates who can both build quantitative models and understand the commercial and organisational contexts in which they will be applied.
