Mathematics with Economics

Mathematics with economics is a degree that applies the rigorous quantitative methods of mathematics to the understanding of economic systems and decision-making. At the University of Sussex, this three-year full-time programme applies mathematics to solve real-world economic issues, helping you understand the relationship between mathematics and economics at a genuine level of rigour. The programme includes an integrated foundation year, making it accessible to students who wish to build their mathematical foundations before progressing to the full degree, as well as a sandwich year with a year abroad and work placement that give you professional experience and international exposure. Entry typically requires around 120 UCAS tariff points.
