Law with Italian Legal Studies

Law with Italian legal studies is a programme that combines rigorous training in Scots law with a focused engagement with the Italian legal system, the Italian language, and the civilian legal tradition that both Italy and Scotland share to a significant degree. Scots law is a mixed legal system with roots in both the Roman-Dutch civil law tradition and the English common law, making it intellectually related to Italian law in ways that a comparative approach makes vivid and illuminating.
