Our Global Development programme offers exceptional student choice for studying international issues across multiple disciplines, with opportunities to pursue language learning where available. You will start your international journey in the first semester of your first year with a trip to Malta to examine the intersecting issues of migration, sustainability and small-island development.
Over the course of your degree you will be taught by academics who have made a direct impact in their fields of research — people working across issues of technology, democracy, urbanisation, health, international migration, urban water, gender-based violence, and much more. You will also have opportunities to engage with practitioners and experts as you develop the critical analytical and communication skills needed for career success. Many of our students make an impact before they graduate through our integrated, innovative approach to teaching and learning.
