At the University of St Andrews this four-year MA programme includes a year abroad, giving you sustained immersion in one or more of the countries whose languages you are studying and the opportunity to encounter their cultures at first hand. You will develop language and communication skills in all three languages to a high level of proficiency, following your own particular interests through a broad range of course options that reflect and explore the cultural heritages of the German-speaking lands, Italy, and the Spanish-speaking world.
