Geography with Foundation Year

From there you will develop a greater understanding of the world around you, exploring climate change and its effects on people and places, the geography of cities and rural areas, environmental management, and the spatial dimensions of social and economic inequality.
The degree develops skills in quantitative and qualitative methods, GIS, fieldwork, and research design. The programme includes a sandwich year and work placement, giving you sustained professional experience in applied contexts such as environmental consultancy, planning, local government, or international development. The typical entry tariff is 88 UCAS points.

Environmental consultancy, urban planning, transport, civil service, international development, teaching, surveying, and data analysis are all fields where geography graduates are well represented.
