At Leeds Beckett University, this three-year, full-time degree develops your skills in experimental and industry-standard approaches to pattern cutting and garment construction, encouraging you to push the boundaries of your design thinking while remaining grounded in the realities of professional practice. Graduates from fashion design programmes work across the fashion industry in roles including garment design, pattern cutting, fashion styling, visual merchandising, and fashion buying and merchandising. Many graduates also work in adjacent creative fields such as costume design, textile design, fashion communication, and retail management. Some go on to launch their own labels or small fashion businesses.
