It is a discipline that combines creative vision with meticulous project management, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate multiple suppliers, contractors and stakeholders under time pressure.
The University of the West of Scotland offers this events management programme in a part-time format, making it accessible to students who are managing other commitments alongside their studies. The part-time mode is particularly well suited to those who are already working in event management or hospitality and want to formalise and develop their knowledge at university level, bringing practical experience directly into contact with academic frameworks.
