Engineering mathematics is an unusual degree in that it is neither purely mathematics nor purely engineering, but a discipline that develops the mathematical and computational tools that engineering depends on and applies them to real engineering and data modelling problems. The four-year full-time Engineering Mathematics programme at the University of Bristol provides a background in mathematical analysis, computing, and general engineering within the overall context of mathematical and data modelling.
