Electronics and computer engineering is the combined field that sits at the heart of the modern technological world, connecting the physical hardware of electronic devices with the software and computational systems that bring them to life. At the University of Northampton, this four-year full-time degree includes a foundation year, providing a supported entry route for students who would benefit from additional preparation before the main degree content begins. From there, you will develop knowledge of digital electronics, analogue circuit design, programming, computer architecture, signal processing, embedded systems, and the integration of these components into functional products and systems.
