At Chichester, this three-year full-time programme includes a foundation year and a sandwich year with a work placement, giving you both an accessible academic entry route and substantial professional experience in industry. The foundation year builds the mathematical and scientific foundations needed to succeed at degree level in a technically demanding discipline. The main programme then develops your understanding of the core aspects of electronic and electrical engineering, including circuits and systems, electromagnetism, signal processing, power electronics and communications.
The sandwich year allows you to apply your skills in a professional engineering context, building the practical competence and professional awareness that employers value alongside academic knowledge.
