About this course

Electromechanical engineering brings together electrical and mechanical engineering in a discipline that is fundamental to modern automated and industrial systems. This three-year full-time programme at University College Birmingham provides a practically oriented engineering education, reflecting UCB's tradition of vocational and applied higher education. You will study electrical circuits and power electronics, mechanical principles, control systems, automation, machine design, programmable logic controllers, and the safety and maintenance practices that professional engineers need.
