About this course

Electrical engineering addresses the generation, distribution and application of electrical and electronic systems, from power grids and telecommunications networks to microprocessors and signal processing algorithms. It is a discipline of extraordinary scope and practical consequence: the electrical infrastructure of modern society, the devices through which we communicate and compute, and the systems that control everything from domestic appliances to aircraft are all the work of electrical engineers.
