At the University of Sussex, this four-year full-time programme includes both a foundation year and an industrial placement year. Graduates go on to work in the energy sector, telecommunications, defence, automotive, aerospace, medical technology, and a wide range of other industries. Roles include electronics design engineer, systems engineer, power engineer, and communications engineer. Many pursue professional engineering qualifications and chartered engineer status.
