At the University of Cambridge, this three-year full-time degree develops your ability to think critically and rigorously about educational systems, processes, and purposes. You will engage with psychological theories of learning and development, sociological analyses of how education reproduces or challenges social inequality, philosophical questions about knowledge and value in education, and historical and political perspectives on how educational systems have been shaped and contested.
