Dutch and Management Studies

Dutch and Management Studies is a combination that joins high-level language competence in Dutch with a thorough grounding in the principles of management and organisational behaviour. Dutch is the native language of approximately 25 million people in the Netherlands and Belgium, and it is also historically significant as the language of one of Europe's most internationalised economies. The Netherlands is a major hub of international business, trade, and logistics, and Dutch-speaking Belgium is home to the headquarters of the European Union.

At University College London, this four-year, full-time joint honours programme divides equally between Dutch and Management Studies. The language component is taught by the School of European Languages, Culture and Society, and covers speaking, listening, reading, writing, and translation alongside cultural topics including literature, history, film, linguistics, and politics. The management component gives you a thorough grounding in strategy, organisational behaviour, finance, marketing, and operations, developing the commercial and analytical skills that management careers demand.
